Ja es ist ein merkwürdiger Fehler.. Grade wo es bei einigen/vielen mit dem FF nicht auftritt.. Aber bei anderen schon.. Ich kanns bei mir auch nicht reproduzieren.. FF läd genauso schnell wie alle anderen Browser.
Eine Idee wäre mal, Adblock auch für STNE zu aktivieren.. Und mal testen, ob es vielleicht an der Werbung liegt?

Werbung sollte zu mindestens bei jmw nicht das Problem sein, da er FP hat, nach der genaueren Beschreibung jetzt muss ich aber etwas dazu sagen.
Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass ich bei hoher CPU-Auslastung das Problem bei der einigen Seiten nachvollziehen und reproduzieren kann. Andere Seiten laden hierbei jedoch einwandfrei. Habe ich zB so aus Spaß mal Programme wie "Boinc" oder "SolidCoin" oder ein Spiel mit höherem Grafik/CPU-Aufwand am laufen erscheint bei einigen Seiten ebenso wie bei den anderen dieser weiße Frame. Klicke ich ohne CPU-Auslastung bleibt mir die weiße Seite verborgen. Auf anderen Seiten hingegegen stört die CPU-Auslastung absolut nicht und alles läuft flüssig und ohne Veränderung.
Vielleicht hilft das ein wenig, wenn ich meine Beobachtung hier mitteile.
Auch FF? Möglicherweise ists ja ein Bugs bei dem...

spannender sind ADD-Ons oder andre Programme, die da im Hintergrund rödeln. Eins habe ich aber bei mir auch bemerkt, der FF ist aktuell der langsamste Browser, egal bei welchen Seiten.

jmw, ich weiß dass du FP hast, aber versuche den Adlocker mal "ganz" zu deaktivieren. Die gesendeten Seiten von STNE sind teilweise "sehr groß" und ein üppiger Filter könnte etwas mehr CPU dann beanspruchen.
Wir versuchen zwar auch die alte GUI zu optimieren, aber primär sind Optimierungen für die neue GUI vorgesehen. Ansonsten wirds nen Fass ohne Boden.
Ich nutze übrigens auch FF, habe "wenig" probleme damit. Aber nicht nur STNE macht manchmal probleme, oft auch andere Seiten oder wenn mal viele Tabs auf hat. Was mir immer wieder auffällt: Firebug (ist ein Addon für FF) kann den Browser in bestimmten Situationen "extrem" ausbremsen + inklusive Speicherleaks.

Hab die Lösung ... Firefox deinstallieren, neu installieren ... Problem jetzt mal gelöst.
Dieselben addons werden verwendet.
ich hab mit dem IE8 auch verzögerungen seit der änderung. und durch die langsame DSL-light-leitung, die ich momentan noch habe, wird das noch verstärkt. ich hab aber dank FP ein anrecht auf einen schnelleren seitenaufbau, was für mich auch ein grund ist, FP zu nutzen. leider hält STNE momentan nicht das, was es vollmundig verspricht.
ich habe mein gesamtes xp-system samt allen hotfixes etc vor wenigen tagen neu installiert, allerdings ohne verbesserung im seitenaufbau.
